Way back in the early 1900's, my Papa was an apprentice and an artist in the hills of Southern Italy. As he grew up in the small village of Agrigento, he matured into a fine painter and artist after many years of training under the care of master artisans.

Down the cobblestone streets of Agrigento, Italy lies a cathedral that I was able to visit in my youth to admire the fresco paintings done by the hands of my father! It brought tears to my eyes! To this day, I treasure that memory, which remains always vivid in my mind!

Arriving to America by ship penniless, with just a bag of artisan tools, he glowed with enthusiasm as he entered the New York Harbor. In later years, he became well known throughout Manhattan and the Hamptons working in conjunction with some of the finest Designers and Decorators.

For me to visit the spectacular homes of the rich and famous, with Papa's ornate works of art and finishes, was an ordinary part of my life. On July 21st my father passed at 90 years of age in his home as we celebrated my brother's birthday. Papa chose a day of celebration to pass as we all gathered in his home to be with him at the time of his death, from his grandchildren to his children and wife and even close friends and neighbors. I will forever treasure the moments I shared with him that were filled with such love as he always shared his wisdom and knowledge with us. His stories and lessons are priceless.

As for me, I too was touched and blessed with the ability and talent to paint. In the winding roads of Long Island's North fork, just walking distance to the beaches and vineyards I am inspired daily to create. The panoramic surroundings are enough to inspire any painter. My love for interior design, art history and painting has led me to the birth of my boutique Tesoro Fino - Fine Treasures, Inc.. I am certain that this desire was due to my surroundings during my childhood and has continued to stay with me throughout the years.

Today, I am able to share my passion for painting and interior design with all of you. My company encompasses many of my passions. My boutique is filled with my love for the old and the new delicately blended together to create an inviting look. It's filled with many vintage pieces, some hand painted, some refinished, some even transformed and recycled to create my very own works of art!
